Meet The Doctors

Dr. Michelle Manimtim has been practicing in the area since 2018. She completed her undergraduate studies at University of California, Los Angeles, majoring in Psychobiology with a minor in Education, and earned her dental degree from the University at Buffalo School of Dental Medicine. Dr. Manimtim has also completed advanced training through a general practice residency and pursues continuing education as often as possible to stay current with the latest advancements in dentistry.

She is an active member of the American Dental Association®, the California Dental Association, and the Monterey Bay Dental Society. Dr. Manimtim’s goal as a dentist is to improve her patients’ oral health, gain their trust and calm their fears, ensuring a positive and comfortable dental experience for all.

Born and raised in Fresno, Dr. Manimtim is deeply connected to her roots. She is married to an attorney and has two young daughters. In her free time, she enjoys spending quality time with her family outdoors when the weather is nice, as well as crafting and baking.

We are excited to welcome Dr. Joseph Choi to The Ohana Dental Group! Dr. Choi brings with him over 20 years of experience in the field of dentistry, specializing in cosmetic dentistry, full mouth rehabilitation, and same-day dentistry. His extensive knowledge and dedication to patient care make him a perfect fit for our Ohana mission of treating every patient like family.

Dr. Choi earned his Bachelor of Science degree in Biology from UCLA in 1999 and went on to complete his Doctor of Dental Surgery at USC in 2003—making him a proud Bruin who continues to “Fight On!” Shortly after graduating, Dr. Choi served as a brigade-level dental surgeon with the 1st Cavalry Division in Baghdad, Iraq, during Operation Iraqi Freedom. His background in service has shaped his approach to dentistry, emphasizing meticulous care, compassion, and a patient-first attitude.

As a member of the American Dental Association, California Dental Association, and Monterey Bay Dental Society, Dr. Choi stays current with the latest technologies and
techniques, always striving to provide the best care possible. He is dedicated to making every visit an enjoyable and comfortable experience for his patients.

When he’s not caring for smiles, Dr. Choi enjoys staying fit, exploring the outdoors, and traveling with his family. His favorite vacation spot is Lake Louise in Canada, and he loves discovering new travel destinations and relaxing in cozy coffee shops.

Dr. Choi’s warm and caring demeanor, along with his passion for creating beautiful, healthy smiles, makes him an amazing addition to our Ohana. We are thrilled to have him on our team, and we know our patients will love getting to know him!
